Often when riding around the capital city, of Niamey, Niger, I would see camels, sometimes two or three walking down the road. Sometimes loaded with heavy thatch, sometimes riders, once with a big advertising balloon for Orange cellular phone service. Now that was an odd juxtaposition. What I found very attractive was that they always seemed very calm and in no rush at all.
